Friendly service, decent toilets Unfortunately not that good price-performance ratio (pizza, noodles and 2 Joh.-Schorle for 39 € ...) Food comes quickly and quantity is good. A bit bland for an Italian for our taste buds. The ambience in the large glass case is very modern, a bit uncomfortable for us, especially when you sit in the middle. You can do this for a quick snack while shopping, but not for a romantic dinner in the evening.

Salad with plenty of shrimp and pizza bread very tasty. Pizza also recommended.

Catastrophic conditions regarding Corona. We were just squeezed between two tables. In the "closed room" there were definitely more than 50-60 people in a very small space. There was about 50 cm of space to our table neighbors and you could hear every word from the other. I would not have felt comfortable there even without Corona. The tables were briefly wiped with a dirty cloth. Always the same from table to table. Neither the salt and pepper mills nor the menus are disinfected here. How can such a thing be allowed? So if I get Corona now, then I will know where from! In no other restaurant have I seen such conditions before. The health department should definitely pay a visit here.

You feel very uncomfortable here in times of Covid. Unfortunately we didn't get a table outside where the distance regulations are still observed. This is not the case in the restaurant. A maximum of 50cm space is left between the tables & pretty much every table was occupied. Even if you ignore Covid, you just don't feel comfortable here. You can hardly have conversations & listen to the other guests at ease. The food is good but does not do justice to the price, and neither is the staff.

The Italian is centrally located in the Outletcity Metzingen. The food is served quickly, you can have a quick meal here and then continue shopping. The food is good. I also like that the noodle serving for two is served in a large bowl. So you can vary the portion size of the individual. We were here during the Corona period. The distance between the tables seemed a bit small to me.

Was a nice day in Metzingen, except for a visit to this restaurant. The pizza tasted like frozen pizza and was also cold. Strange behavior by the staff pushes pizza with rocket back into the oven. Staff is nice nonetheless. Not justified for the price ...

Food ok but takes a lot too long.

Food fits well, ok in terms of price. Coffee is not bad, but it's more like a run-of-the-mill illy.

Great antipasta plate! Price performance reasonable. A bit confusing name as not much pane on the menu.

The food and wine were great. I especially liked the fact that there are not only standard Italian dishes. For example, as a starter, toasted bread with spinach or as a main course, avocado ravioli. The service at the table was good, but a point deduction for the greeting. I was traveling unaccompanied and was greeted with the word "alone" and at first I didn't feel very welcome, or that 2 or more people would have been preferred.

The food was tasty and most of the dishes were reasonably priced for the location. The price for the small salad - a handful of green lettuce as well as half a tomato and two thick slices of cucumber - I think is excessive. In addition, the salad bowl was pretty to look at, but completely unsuitable for cutting the thick cucumber or tomato. The only thing that happened is that the salad was pushed out of the bowl. The staff was always friendly. One or the other could still work on the speed and cleanliness.

Our favorite for years. Shopping, relaxing over lunch and thinking about what else you really want to buy or better not. Good food, nice ambience.

Our visit to this restaurant left a lot to be desired. The staff was sometimes very unfriendly when taking the order. Ordered food was not fully served. A separate glass was also not brought. When paying, no receipt was initially presented, only after asking. They still charged the ordered dish that was not served. great

Great pizza eaten the speciale comes highly recommended. You sit right in the city. But still not hectic, everything is very relaxed. Will definitely eat there again.

A pretty good restaurant with filling portions and very kind people working there.I recommend the penne salmone.Pasta are great and the pizza is ok at least the two of them that we have tried......It is a pretty and cosy restaurabt too i liked the design very much

If one wishes to experience fake Italian cuisine then this is the place to be. Nothing is Italian about it, neither the food, nor the olive oil or the grated parmesan or the chilli oil and nor the coffee. Service was fast. Staff was friendly. Penne Arabiata was just not good, it was more like pasta dipped in tomato sauce. It was quite a disappointing experience.

We can only say positive things about the Olio e Pane. The staff was super friendly and extremely attentive. The food was super tasty and fresh !!! Definitely a good address in Metzingen. Look at the pictures. The atmosphere in the entire restaurant was very pleasant and not too loud. Anytime again when we are nearby!

Pizza Speciale... Dough with tomato and onions, just a little bit cheese and even less salami, like they stole it from somewhere... In one word, disaster. Espresso was good tho, that's why 2 stars, otherwise 1 cause 0 is not possible... Don't eat here, drink coffee...

Centrally located in Metzingen. Provides ample seating indoors and out. Service very fast and friendly. Big portion. Really recommended.
